A stylish outdoor lounge offering a mix of tapas and craft cocktails. The ambiance is unbeatable, and the dishes—feature fresh seafood and local ingredients. Order several small plates and sit back and enjoy the open air, whimsical vibe.
2. Mandarina Restaurant & Beach Club
Located at Casa Las Tortugas, this beachfront restaurant serves gourmet dishes with a fusion of Mexican and Mediterranean flavors. Enjoy the sunset from your beach table, surrounded by the scent of copal and sea breezes.
3. Zomay Beachfront Hotel
Come here for the sunset, stay for the shrimp tacos. With one of the best sunset views on the island, Zomay offers a locals vibe with great music, 2 for 1 cocktails and taco specials.

The beach club restaurant serves all the classic Mexican favorites with an upscale twist. Ask your server for recommendations and share a few of the small plates! For a romantic, intimate atmosphere, come here for dinner service. Curling your toes in the sand while listening to the soft waves over dinner, can’t beat it! The hotel has 2 restaurants, but I found the beach ambiance to be more accommodating. Hands down, one of the best places to eat on Isla Holbox!

A rustic retreat offering authentic local cuisine. This charming spot is perfect for those looking to have the best Lobster pizza on the island! We went here for breakfast also, which was simple, classic and very cheap!
10. Painapol
For the best breakfast on the island, Painapol brings the breakfast spread! From fresh pressed juices, to an array of avocado toasts platters, sandwiches and pancakes, you will leave very satisfied! So satisfied, you will return the next day. Order the fresh Detox juice, a cooling blend of cucumber, aloe and mint.

A haven for health enthusiasts, this vegan hotel offers a restaurant that serves wholesome and creative dishes. The focus on wellness and sustainability provides a fresh experience. Tucked away in a lush oasis, expect to find Mexican classics, fresh juices and a tasty selection of burritos and burgers.
12. La Playa De Nana
A beach club and restaurant designed for all-day relaxation. Come here for lunch, bask in the sun, enjoy refreshing drinks and the freshest Agua Chile. The crowd is upbeat, hip and good looking! Seriously. The food and drinks are on point and some of the best on the island. Try the octopus tacos and fresh pressed juices.
13. Punta Caliza
International travel magazine worthy, this rustic boutique hotel offers an intimate dining experience with exceptional, fresh Paloma cocktails. The kitchen menu changes daily, serving authentic Mexican and seafood dishes. We stayed here two nights and very much enjoyed the complementary breakfast service. Non-hotel guests can eat here for breakfast or dinner, with a reservation.
