Top 5 Atlanta Spa’s

Relax & De-stress Atlanta Style

As someone who loves to unwind and tend to my body, massages are an important part of maintaining my health. And after hundreds of massages, I am here to say that booking a luxury spa experience is not all it’s cracked up to be! In fact, the times I have splurged in a 5 star spa, I have been very disappointed. If you have money to throw around at the St. Regis for amazing amenities and so so massages, then you do you. But personally I would love an amazing massage and zero amenities! So, if you are after a great massage at an affordable rate, this blog post is for you!

Here is my roundup of the top 5 best spas in Atlanta.

1. Jeju Sauna & Spa

For all my seasoned spa goers, Jeju Spa is a place that strips away the plush cotton robes and fluffy slippers for an orange two piece T-shirt and shorts. For anyone who has not been to a Korean Bath House, let me allow you in on a secret. The best massages and body scrubs of your life happen here. The only caveat, no privacy. At Korean spas you bare it all. For my ladies who are shy and say, “I could never” believe me, you are missing out. For a total of $150, get the hour scrub followed by the hour massage. Tipping is not allowed on credit cards here, so please do bring cash (20%) for your therapist.

2. Spa Land Duluth

In case you are still not sure, THE BEST massages of your life happen in Korean Spas. I personally find this to be true from LA to Atlanta, and I stand by it. Spa Land in Duluth has mens and women’s floors with hot and cold tubs, dry and steam saunas, showers and all of the beauty and grooming facilities you would expect of a world class destination spa. The mineral saunas are on the co-ed floor, so you can link up with your honey for some shared spa time. Admission is $38 and the spa services start at $50. Yoni Steams, Nail Care, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Swedish and Deep Tissue Massages are all offered here an an unbeatable rate.

3. Chateau Elan Spa

For a destination spa look no further than Chateau Elan. Located just 35 minutes from Atlanta, pack your overnight bag for a dazzling spa getaway. The Wellness Center has an indoor pool, Sunning deck, yoga studio and relaxing nature trails around the property. The Spa services are pricy, but what you would expect at high end resort. From facials to IV vitamin infusions, the Spa is fully equipped for all your holistic wellness needs.

4. Nava Sen Spa

Nava Sen Spa in Marietta offers a beautiful and unique Thai Spa experience. For my seasoned Thai massage goers, Nava Spa is the best. Traditional Thai Yoga Massage includes deep pressure and deep stretches to unwind tension and stress. The Thai Yoga Massage offers a deeper approach to bodywork, getting into the joints and muscles far better than most. For my shy ladies, in a Thai Yoga Massage you are clothed the entire time. Services here start at $85 and are well worth upgrading to the longer session. It is customary to tip your therapist 20% of the service cost, so bring some cash.

5. The Now Massage Buckhead

Affordable in a luxury setting, The Now has re-branded the 5 star spa experience. The atmosphere is a modern-boho dream, with white linen curtains, salt lamps, amazing scents and most importantly, a great massage. My advice, try a few different massage therapists here to find the one that best suits your needs. And stick with them! Finding a great massage therapist can take time, but there is a good lot of skilled therapists here. And remember to tip your therapist!

Atlanta is a cultural melting pot offering exceptional spa experiences. Whether you are in the mood for a 5 star atmosphere or Korean bath house experience, the city provides top notch massages and spa experiences.
